This is my favorite Edit Bay podcast yet, and more people need to hear – and heed – your advice. If you want to sweeten the deal for a company give them a discount later down the road – comp a few hours for giving you 6 months of consistent billings or something. But you also need to invoice the full amount and apply a discount to the invoice so the client sees they’re getting a deal and can’t bring you the lower invoice the next month and demand the lower amount.
