hmm….i have a question because I don't have a RAID yet. So I'm not familiar with them.

So if I want RAID 0 and want this Drobo for back up, would I capture all my footage to the RAID 0 and then afterward copy it to the Drobo? And then if my RAID 0 fails, just fix it and copy the footage from the Drobo back onto the RAID 0?

Yep Robert, that is what you do. And you can get something like Super Duper to automate the copy process. IT will only copy over the new files. But I hear that Carbon Copy CLoner does this too. Haven't tried it myself, as I am on RAID 5 systems now.
