nice. one of my favorite podcasts so far because it almost directly relates to me since I’ll have my degree in June. I’m surprised the school you went to didn’t tell you that you need a demo reel though. We have a class devoted to just that, and the teacher is a tough critic. But I’m glad things still worked out for you.

One question though. You said you did stuff for cable, and you gave the examples of Nickelodeon and Discovery, but then you were like, “ehhh.” What’s wrong with Nickelodeon and Discovery? I would love to do stuff for Discovery. That’s “my” Hollywood actually. I don’t wanna be a feature film editor, I want to do stuff for Discovery and the History Channel. What’s the difference between them and network television? I mean, I thought Discovery was network television.

I had aspirations of feature film, and “network” television..narrative stuff. THAT was my goal. I ended up on cable, but that is fine with me now. Just wasn’t what I aimed for.

NETWORK are the big four networks, NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX….well, and CN. Those are known as the Networks when you mention Network TV. The stuff people get for free over the air. Everything else is CABLE. BROADCAST television. Well, that is how we refer to it here.

DOLLHOUSE get better? First three episodes were SNORERS. Can’t believe I gave it that long. I might try again.

I FINALLY saw the finale to BATTLESTAR GALACTICA Monday. And I have FRINGE, a few MONK and PSYCH episodes to finish off, and then 30 ROCK, OFFICE, SCRUBS.

Tellin ya, I haven’t seen anything. I have had the same three Netflix movies for 2 months!

Dollhouse went from zero to hero around episode 6. I’m hoping against hope for its renewal, but the ratings aren’t on my side.

BSG’s finale was pretty good, better on repeat viewings. FRINGE got better, but I’m still yet to be sold. Scrubs was a beautiful ending, but I hear they’re trying to bring it back for another season, which would just be silly. I can’t lie, I’ve given up on Office/30 Rock.
