USB... bad idea! And this is just one more reason I prefer the RED to Panasonic. I got a standard Firewire 800 CF card reader for $65. I'm using the Duel with Express34 on my MBP (and will never be able to run SL due to lack of OS support). And I think it takes long now, with our 16 GB card (although I'm using HD Log with content verification...) On the other hand, perhaps people will use macbooks that does not have FW?
