From my experiences, 95% of stock houses' master TC never matches the burn in. I worked on 13 shorts for the Smithsonian museum and all our shorts were built from stock footage. The asst had to eye match every shot back to prep for online cuz only 1 out of the 25 stock sources had matching timecode. It was ridiculous!

We are setting up a stockfootage bank and we are having problem deciding the way to go. I want to do it low res for the web but with time code so people could conform later on. Do you have any idea of what to use?
