		<description>Yep Robert, that is what you do.  And you can get something like Super Duper to automate the copy process.  IT will only copy over the new files.  But I hear that Carbon Copy CLoner does this too.  Haven&#039;t tried it myself, as I am on RAID 5 systems now.</description>

I have a first gen Drobo, which is sloooow - about 5mb/sec on a G5 Quad.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Good to read that the FW800 actually does seem to deliver a useable speed.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Am planning/considering the Drobo Pro as back-up for RED footage.</description>
