		<description>I recently did a doc-style music video/performance piece - shot with an HV20.  I did everything native HDV - needed it done *quickly*, so didn&#039;t have time to test various workflows involving converting footage to better codec.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;9+ minute timeline took around 30-35 minutes for final render/conform.  This on an 8-core Intel.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Anything longer, though, and I&#039;d most likely do the Capture as ProRes Method  (which leaves footage 1440 - don&#039;t know if this is a big deal or not), or Convert in Compressor Method.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;-Christian Glawe</description>

		<description>you know the HDV I&#039;ve done I&#039;ve done it native in HDV and it hasn&#039;t been near as bad as people have said. These were doc style without many effects... as I&#039;ve turned a few of those kinds down due to the long conform. But with a simple edit it&#039;s really not been too bad.
