Finally I have found just the information that I have been searching for. You know, it was really irritating to surf through a number of sites but not find the to-the-point stuffs. But, your website ended up being an exception. I can proudly tell that- “See, here’s a site which i value for my study! ”

I cannot really say, as I have not tested that on an HD LCD. I have checked it out on my HD CRT, and can say that you really won't see a difference between Component and HD SDI. You might if you are a professional colorist, but the difference, IMHO, is small.

I wish they had that Panasonic set up properly...because I know it looks better than that.

And I didn't get a chance to see the MXO side by side with all of these monitors. I would have liked to. Maybe I can talk to the JVC guy and get a side by side with that one. I think that would be a fair test...

Thanks for the run-down, Shane! That's too bad that the Panasonic didn't stand up too well, when it might have done better with better set up. But still, I've been a little disappointed that neither of the Panasonic monitors (the 17 and the 26) can handle full 1080 resolution.

One question for you: how do your favorite monitors compare to using a 23" cinema display, attached to that Matrox doohickey you wrote about a while ago? (I think it's from Matrox...but maybe not? It lets you use a Cinema Display as a real studio monitor, and from what I recall, you were pretty impressed with the color fidelity, compared to your Sony 14" crt.)

Thanks!
