The AEs are being paid to do the tech etc. You are being paid to be creative. IMHO, I would focus 100 percent on the creative. This will also help the AEs root out bigger problems if they are made aware every time something goes wrong (are the symptoms local or office wide, etc.,).<br/><br/>When I AE'd I didn't want my editors to worry about anything except cutting. Sometimes I find myself being careless too (mostly w/organization) and just chuckle as I hear a little "AE voice" in the back of my head yelling at me for being a "lazy editor."
